Rob definitely knows his stuff. It was interesting breaking down this scene piece-by-piece to see all the hard work that went into planning it. Glad you enjoyed it!

Nice to read such thorough description of the making of a scene. Congratulations to both, Rob and Christian.
By the way, I think Rob is the best ever DP a director could ask for. He never stopped my vision and always was supportive, creative in his domain with his crew and inventing solutions for the shoot.
Thanks guys, what good memories...
Best,
Dom

Yeah Dimension have a lot to answer for. Just look at the Hellraiser sequels.

I like the overall look of Halloween 5 as the director gave it an eerie feel, but the script is pretty poor and it's frustrating that they just skated over the cliffhanger from the previous movie (as a couple of Friday the 13th films had also done). Still, when it works it really does work.

I am a strong supporter of Halloween 5 and feel it is the last good Halloween film that you can go back to and enjoy just as much as you did the last time. Probably because the films were produced independently before Dimension took over. My only complaint is the blue Myers house and the way it was structured did not fit with continuity. But that scene is very memorable!
