excellent flick. score done by brad fiedel (terminator, t2, fright night, etc.) there are subtle differences in dvd release and the original paragon video vhs as the dvd is the complete version.

I thought the killer was really stupid looking, personally. I also didn’t like how they showed what he looked like near the beginning, which spoils a lot of the suspense. I understand that the director was trying to do something different, but keep it within the confines of a slasher. All in all it’s above average but not one of my all time favourites. I have the VHS and DVD and I swear the music is different on the VHS, at the beginning, anyhow.

Yes it is Christopher. If you look for a special edition with a cover that resembles the one above it is remastered with extras. Other releases look lifted from a VHS. Well worth spending that little bit more!

I am shocked that I have never heard of this. I consider myself an expert on 80′s slasher flicks. Is this available on DVD Christian? I am trying to collect every slasher film from the 80′s that’s on DVD.

Good Review, this is my favorite slasher film of all time, it never gets many props with slasher fans either!

Nice review. This is a good one that still seems to fly under the radar a bit. The decent if not pretty good acting goes a long way in my opinion. The characters are mostly likeable as well. Vachel’s death makes me cringe every time, too.
