More News on Mother's Day Remake

More news on the upcoming remake of the 1980 slasher Mother’s Day. As previously revealed, the film will be directed by Darren Lynn Bousman (who lensed the first three Saw sequels) and produced by Twisted Pictures.

According to Production Weekly, the six and a half week shoot will commence on August 24 in Winnipeg, Canada. Yet, Bousman’s own Twitter page has been quiet of late with regards to the project, instead commenting on drunk drivers and Repo! The Genetic Opera‘s inclusion in this year’s Comic-Con.

  3. You ever hear Eli ROth talk about how a scene or sequence from Mother’s Day was ‘lifted’ wholly and used in P.T. Anderson’s Boogie Nights?

I wonder what scene he’s talking about?

  4. The scene at the beginning at the pool where you see a girl rollerskating.
