You say that this was intended as a slasher spoof but I’m really not sure about that. Although it did have a few nods and winks towards other films (i.e. Friday the 13th and Pieces), this was played pretty straight. It’s like Friday Part V, where there was a lot of humour thrown into the mix, but that was still a legit horror. I think stating that Slaughter High is trying to be anything other than a regular slasher is being confused with the post Scream infulence. I would agree though that the acting and accents were abysmal, and that the plot made little to no sense!!

I wish no one would remake this. I’m okay with some of the remakes (such as Halloween, Friday the 13th, Black Christmas and A nightmare on Elm Street) but this one, this very film, I shall curse anyone who remake this!

It sucks about Simon. I hope he’s at peace. I can’t find any info about his death..only that he commited suicide because of issues with his father..but we don’t know whether thats true.

I agree Kris, so little is known of him. One site, possible IMDb or Wikipedia (the latter of which is 90% bullshit so I wouldn’t take it as gospel), claimed the overdose was due to abuse from his father. Again, I don’t know the specifics so please don’t quote me on that one. Damn shame though!

The details of Scuddamore’s suicide have always been a mystery in a way. I’ve never been able to find much information about his life or why this may have happened. Maybe I’m not looking in the right places.

No, personally the sight of naked Marty dunked in the toilet has scarred me for life. I could have easily lived without seeing that. A measly condom is nothing compared to that.
