I agree that the general quality of the show was not high, but surely it’s a bit of cheating to say the show would “eventually be canceled” — every show eventually gets canceled!

While most of the episodes were fairly bad, there were still some bright spots. I still remember one image, from an episode about a Springfield teen with recurring nightmares of being shot at his fast-food job before he could graduate and get out of town: he would see blood dripping in front of him, and discover that it was dripping from a small circular spot on his forehead…

In Massachusetts, this played back to back w/ Friday the 13th: the Series. At age 8/9, I harassed a babysitter so hard to watch them, that after a couple weeks, she quit.

This show wasn’t very good, but at the same time, it totally ruled. It was just so 80s! I adored it.

I’m glad I finally got to catch the episodes on Chiller. Before that, I remember getting one of the 2 episode VHS movies when they were released and that was the only time I ever seen anything with the series. It’s funny to see some recognizable faces in some of the episodes.

Didn’t seen too many episodes I liked back in the day, but the origin of Freddy episode was pretty sweet.
