The House on the Edge of the Park has to be one of the funniest and dumbest parties in early slasher movies as well.

And how could you ignore the Gangster Rock party scene in Graduation Day. Or the party in Happy Birthday to Me. OK the guest were bit lifeless, but the cake and surprise were great.

I always loved the house bands found in early slasher.
