This is one of my favourite slashers from the 80′s. I honsetly loved it and it deserves a chance. I collect 80′s slashers as well and I would say this is one of the better ones. However the killer is extremely obvious, if you don’t figure it out half way through you will know AT LEAST 15 mintues before they even reveal who it is.

Synapse have announced they are going to release the uncut version on dvd and it is going to have footage that have never been seen before. I can’t wait.

I really hated it when I was younger, mainly because of how amateur it is. But as with a lot of the lesser slashers I eventually found things about it I liked and enjoy it a lot more now.

I too liked this movie. It’s not a classic by any standards but the location and atmosphere make up for the short downfalls. The ending was quite bleak, but that is what I liked about it.

Great review! I saw this a few months ago and its not that good but the location and atmosphere is awesome! I would probably watch it again.

I love this movie. The atmosphere is excellent, creepy and suspenseful. I agree about the fact there should have been more spiked bat deaths, but I still think the filmmakers did the best they could.

It is a great location and an interesting ending but it is not among the best. I still feel the spiked club was underused as that was a really unique weapon. Could have done some damage!

I like it too. It’s odd, and I can’t say it’s a good film in technical standards, but like Tuzo said, that ending. I think it’s an interesting film, very of its time.

Also, for some reason, I was upset by the death of Zuniga’s character and her parents. They were picking her up so she could see her grandmother in the hospital (this is mentioned above). I kept thinking how sad for her grandmother to have lost her whole family while she was sick.

I know, I need to work on things!
