If someone ever gets around to releasing Curtains on DVD I'm sure they'd make a mint off us slasher fans. I'd also love to see a cleaned-up print of Humongous on the digital format, because as everyone knows the VHS is impenetrably dark throughout. I remember seeing Humongous on cable in the 90's however, and it was still dark but much easier to see what was going on. I'm not sure what source was used for the cable broadcast, and I think the filmmakers made an intentionally underlit film, but I'm certain a more watchable print exists (possibly a VHS master?) and hopefully Code Red or another company will rescue if from obscurity.

Many of my favo(u)rite slasher movies are Canadian. I couldn't even imagine what what late 70s-early 80s horror would be like without these movies. Canada didn't produce a high amount of slasher movies, but the ones they did are now classics: Black Christmas,Terror Train, My Bloody Valentine, Curtains,Happy Birthday to Me just to name a few.
