It took me two years to track this DVD down. I'd read that the AB version was out of print and that BU's version had sold out just as quickly so I was excited to someday get my hands on it. I'd done my research on it and knew everything there was to know about the cast, Savini's work on the film, etc. But, I will admit that once I did finally track the DVD down, I was a bit disappointed. The storyline was good and Savini's effects were some of his best ever. But, it didn't pack the "punch" that I was so longingly expecting. Not to say that it was a decent slasher, because honestly, it remains in my book as one of the better made ones...

The first time I ever heard about this movie was in Tom Savini's first makeup FX book. It wasn't until maybe 6 years ago that I FINALLY found a VHS copy at a movie store and rented it. A couple of years later I noticed the Blue Underground DVD at a Best Buy in Las Vegas and snatched it up. I put this in my top 10 of the slashers in the 80's.
