Unproduced: Two Pieces

Admirers of Pieces (1982) know you don’t have to go to Texas for a chainsaw massacre. But did you know a continuation of a certain gory campus massacre was once on tap?

Original director Juan Piquer Simón announced in 1991 that “there will be a continuation of Pieces entitled Two Pieces. This one will be much wilder then the first… so the critics can start sharpening their claws now!”

The Spanish genre director was never given a chance to follow through with his plans.

  1. Awwww man, I would have LOVED to have seen that! I can only imagine the total insanity Simon would have unleashed!

  2. the ultimate chainsaw film, which was so much better in every way than that shitfest TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE.
    Two would have been great.

  3. Oh yeah, a second part would have really been great. The acting and some scenes in Pieces were truly horrible though such as that dumb skateboard-death and so on, liked it anyway.

  4. I like the original, but admit it would’ve been hard to make a sequel that didn’t just rehash the original. Unless the plot of the sequel was intended to concern the (cough) “living dead woman” the original killer stitched together. Other than that, new killer, new setting, new characters, etc.
