Halloween 2 & 3 Blu-Ray Covers: Take a Look

Blu-Ray.com have posted cover art to the forthcoming undated Halloween 2 and Halloween 3: Season Of The Witch BDs. Presumably, it’s dummy art on show but I wouldn’t be surprised if these original artworks carry through as several companies learned from DVD that spending money prettying them up with Photoshop designs doesn’t make them any additional buckaroos.
Seeing as no extras are planned for these releases, expect the pair to be standard in every way.

I’ve sent a very nice email to Universal Pictures everyday since the first hearing of these blu ray’s. And I know several other people who have done the same. I hope Universal will realize what they could do with these blu ray’s. They would make a lot more money with a special edition of H2 & H3 than a barebones blu ray (and they would make a lot of fans happy) Universal gives crappy films special features but they won’t give two sequels one of the longest running horror franchise a proper special edition. I don’t get it…..
Every day? Wow, you must have a lot of spare time. I’m glad my DVDs are in widescreen but they weren’t remastered and the commentaries were with film critics, not the filmmakers. So I’d like to see a decent special edition of these movies but I doubt the studio has much interest in them.
@Christian….. LOL! I send the same email that’s already typed. That would be sad though…. I hope, with everyone that has sent emails to Universal, they will take a second look at the blu ray. Its nice that H 2&3 are on blu ray. however Where is the network footage and alternate ending for H 2?? A commentary would be nice ,does MCA stilll have the rights? PLEASE GIVE US THE SPECIAL FEATURES THERE WEREN’T ON THE PRERVIOUS EDITION DVD’S!! ALSO RE-RELEASE IT ON DVD. I cant afford blu ray now.

Universal officially announced Halloween II on BD today with a street date of 9/13. The cover isn’t the original art but rather a close-up of Michael Myers’ face (pretty disappointing). But the great news is that there are some great extra features …

i hope they include they tv version opening, the halloween 2 theme plays, then the movie starts(the tv version alternate begging)
I emailed Universal home they said there were no plans for aspecial edition dvd for H 2 & 3. They betta put H 2 & 3 on dvd as well!! or do a CHEAP price combo pack. I wana trade my bare bones dvds for proper special edition!! are you listening Universal??
