Retro Slashers’ Produced Pic Out Now on DVD

So Terror At Black Tree Forest is now available! Dustin Ferguson’s flick, which I was a producer on, is a bag-headed ode to Friday The 13th Part 2 (1981) but more substantially, Charles Pierce’s The Town That Dreaded Sundown (1976). Check out this neat Wizard Video throwback promo vid for RHR Home Video’s release of this and other winning neo-obscurities like the 4th Boggy Creek flick, Legacy. Warning, you may want to fast-forward through the Bootleg Death Tape portion if that’s not your thing.

Matt, no one’s selling Town That Dreaded Sundown, I was merely comparing our film to it. I’ve reworded to clarify.

Oh this is great. I saw a different trailer for Black Tree Forest months ago on youtube. I figured it was just a faux trailer.

Thanks for the kinds words everyone! @mattdeapo: when I get a little more money raised, I will do everything in my power to get an official, widescreen version of “The Town That Dreaded Sundown” released! I have a couple other titles in mind as well that fans have been DYING for. Please support hardcore, indie horror! It’s the BEST kind of horror…
